During her first year at Stuart, Ms. McCloud enhanced the instructional culture of the school by implementing a flipped classroom and helped her colleagues learn the technology so they could do it too. Since then, she’s revamped the geometry curriculum to make it more accessible to students learning English, become leader of her collaborative team, and taken on sponsorship of the student government association. Last year, she organized the graduation ceremony and began mentoring at-risk students. Colleagues praise her maturity and caring nature, which makes everyone at the school feel valued. “Ms. McCloud, “said a teacher, “provides the hope that the student population needs to be successful.”

Congratulations also to the other Raider staff members recognized at the event.
