Reading During Distance Learning

There are several ways for students to access both print and electronic reading materials during distance learning!

Curbside Pickup: You may place holds on print books through the library catalog. You can pick up the requested book on Mondays. Once the book is ready for pick up, you'll receive a confirmation email in your school Gmail account.  Here are detailed instructions.

Electronic Books: MackinVIA is the our ebook platform. You can access it via website or by downloading the MackinVIA app on your mobile device. Watch the video instructions for help or email Ms. Gunther or Ms. Ji.

Fairfax County Public Library: Starting October 1, 2020, all students (PreK-12) in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) will have LEAP accounts at FCPL. These public library virtual accounts will allow students to check out up to three items at a time for six weeks each (no renewals).
