JHS Band is a 2025 Virginia Honor Band!

Both Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble earned superior ratings this weekend at state assessment. Superior is the highest rating possible, and Wind Ensemble performed the highest level music on the state rating scale.

Because we earned a superior at marching band assessment in October and a superior with our top concert/stage ensemble, the Justice Band is a 2025 Virginia Honor Band for the 15^th time in the last 40 years.
